    Private Clients Account Handler

    Our client, an award winning insurance broker, has an exciting opportunity for a Client Accounts Handler to join their team!

     

    Key skills/experience:

    • Strong knowledge of insurance products/ underwriting principles and industry regulations within the Private Clients/High Net Worth sector
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in policy management and documentation
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
    • Proficiency in Acturis insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite
    • A commitment to ethical business practices and compliance with industry standards.
    • Experience in dealing with High Value Home and Motor experience in either a broking or underwriting capacity is required.

     

    The role:

    • You will collaborate closely with clients, underwriters, and other team members to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions and exceptional service.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and requests.
    • Understand clients' insurance needs and provide tailored advice and solutions.
    • Assist clients with policy enquiries, changes, and renewals.
    • Ensure accuracy in policy documentation, endorsements, and certificates of insurance.
    • Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate and secure the best coverage terms for clients.
    • Analyse clients' risk profiles and insurance needs to identify gaps and opportunities for coverage improvement.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory changes that may impact clients.
    • Ensure clients' insurance policies comply with industry regulations and contractual obligations.
    • Keep clients informed about changes in regulations and their implications.
    • Prepare and deliver regular reports to clients on their insurance portfolios.
    • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling insurance products.
    • Ensure client satisfaction and retention through attentive service.
    • Conduct “peer” quality checks on documentation and files, as required by the business to minimize errors and ensure accuracy.
    • Implement continuous improvement measures to enhance efficiency.
