Our client, an award winning insurance broker, has an exciting opportunity for a Client Accounts Handler to join their team!
Key skills/experience:
- Strong knowledge of insurance products/ underwriting principles and industry regulations within the Private Clients/High Net Worth sector
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in policy management and documentation
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Proficiency in Acturis insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite
- A commitment to ethical business practices and compliance with industry standards.
- Experience in dealing with High Value Home and Motor experience in either a broking or underwriting capacity is required.
The role:
- You will collaborate closely with clients, underwriters, and other team members to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions and exceptional service.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and requests.
- Understand clients' insurance needs and provide tailored advice and solutions.
- Assist clients with policy enquiries, changes, and renewals.
- Ensure accuracy in policy documentation, endorsements, and certificates of insurance.
- Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate and secure the best coverage terms for clients.
- Analyse clients' risk profiles and insurance needs to identify gaps and opportunities for coverage improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory changes that may impact clients.
- Ensure clients' insurance policies comply with industry regulations and contractual obligations.
- Keep clients informed about changes in regulations and their implications.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports to clients on their insurance portfolios.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling insurance products.
- Ensure client satisfaction and retention through attentive service.
- Conduct “peer” quality checks on documentation and files, as required by the business to minimize errors and ensure accuracy.
- Implement continuous improvement measures to enhance efficiency.
