Our client, an award-winning legal firm, has an exciting opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join their Wills, Trusts & Probate team!
The role:
As a Legal Secretary in the Wills, Trusts & Probate team, you will play a key role in supporting solicitors and paralegals while helping clients through important stages of their lives.
From preparing documents to liaising with clients, your work will be varied, meaningful, and valued.
You’ll help prepare wills and probate documentation while learning from senior colleagues in a professional setting.
- Drafting and preparing legal documents, including wills, lasting powers of attorney, probate forms, and correspondence.
- Audio and copy typing of letters, forms, and other documentation with a high level of accuracy.
- Liaising with clients, executors, beneficiaries, and third parties (such as banks and the Probate Registry) in a professional, courteous, and sensitive manner.
- Opening, maintaining, and closing client files in accordance with firm procedures and compliance requirements.
- Assisting with the billing process and maintaining accurate records of time and expenses.
