We are very pleased to be representing a fantastic client on this brand new Regional HRBP opening with their central HR team. 

Role purpose:
To support the Lead HR Business Partner to drive the HR Agenda in your aligned Operational Business Areas through working in partnership with, and influencing, the Business Development Managers. 
You will use these relationships to influence the design and implementation of the sector specific people plan to support our clients HR strategy.

Responsibilities - Strategy & Leadership:

• Developing and implementing a Manpower Plan with the Senior Team to drive high performance, internal succession and organisation effectiveness. 
• Working with your aligned ER Advisor and the ER Team Leader to spot trends and examples of poor practice or procedure in your business area and challenge and coach the Operations team to improve. 
• Building relationships with the BDM team that allow you to influence and where necessary coach to improve their and their teams performance. 
- This coaching should focus on the way they Lead, Coach and manage their teams of General Managers to deliver performance, succession and development Observe, challenge and coach BDMs in conducting PDRs, business reviews and performance improvement discussions.

Key Responsibilities:

• To act as a true business partner to the region.
• Provide expert advice, leadership and coaching across a range of HR subject
areas
• Own the sector PDR calibration sessions ensuring these are
robust and are a reflected in the management and development of the Managers
being calibrated.
• Own the sector graduate and fast track programmes as part of the talent
pipeline ensuring the BDMs and GMs take responsibility for the development and
management of these individuals.
• Lead the people elements of any change project within your area. 

Skills & Experience:
• Previous experience working as an HR Business Partner, with exposure into a wide variety of HR processes and procedures.
• At least 1 years multi-site regional experience in a HR role 
• Retail or Hospitality experience desirable but not essential 
• Proven ability to consistently deliver within a fast moving and highly pressurised environment
• Ability to quickly build relationships, influence and when necessary challenge stakeholders, including senior business leaders to enable effective business partnering.
• Ability to use experience, analyses data to demonstrated intuitive thinking to make the right commercial decisions
• Understanding of the business and how it works and how HR adds value to the bottom line.
• Ideally CIPD qualified, but not essential
• Knowledge or previous work experience within a regional retail/ hospitality/leisure

• People issues providing advice and council to make decisions 
• Identify and prioritise areas to support as necessary to mitigate risk
• Advise and influence the business areas on all aspects of change
• Plan and prioritise own workload
